Ospreys V Glasgow

Post by dancarreg on Fri Nov 29, 2013 9:10 pm

Glasgow team yet to be announced but it's likely that they will have most of their Scotland stars back, meanwhile the Ospreys take a huge gamble with Sam Davies at fly half ( son of Nigel Davies).
Young and raw he is a talent for the future, but this is second V fourth is it fair to throw him into a game of such significance?

I suppose that young Sam has been told to go out and enjoy himself, with the knowledge that nipper is there if it all goes pear shaped.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man - we'll find out!

Sam Davies' control of the game WAS better than Nipper's usually is. a little too much kicking, but overall a very solid performance.
The game truly turned out to be men against boys, Glasgows greater experience telling especially in the last quarter.
Last week the Ospreys attracted 7,000 for the Zebre visit, this week in a second V fourth clash the gate amounted to 5,000, that and the quality level ;tween the two teams must surely tell even the sanest person that Roger Lewis cannot continue with his regional vendetta?
