An English man and French man persuade a Welsh man to walk into a pub......

...and the French man does an about turn and walks out.
The "Champions Cup" looks ever more like a busted flush. How long until the regions come back into the fold as well ?

The English are beginning to look aver more isolated, except that there is the one proviso, (isn't there always?) the French teams will only stay in the HC IF the English are in it too.Evans the nine wrote:http://www.espn.co.uk/heineken-cup-2013-14/rugby/story/207527.html

Unfortunately because of our coat tailing of the English we are also slightly isolated from our Pro12 cousins, excellant case for us to begin to start to make our decisions

Nigel Wray makes the sound of a desperate man. "Honestly ......the regions want to join us......especially the Celtic Warriors. "

LNR boss Paul Gose admits that for the French Clubs the"Champions Cup" was only a negotiation tactic to get European Cup reform.
The downside is that it seems that the financial gap between the French League and the rest is likely to be further widened.

Looks a bit like Jamie Roberts doesn't he.

And today's update...the English Clubs to hold "Crisis" meetings to discuss their future plans. Various descriptions as a "fluid situation" and "the most important [meeting] in 10 years".
A statement due later today.

The English Clubs are "pursuing other options". Presumably said in the same vein as "I am resigning to spend more time with my family"
